Shared from Somerset Chamber of Commerce:Deadline for entries to The Somerset Business Awards 2023 is 25th November 2022.The Somerset Business Awards are organised annually by Somerset Chamber of Commerce and celebrate the very best of Somerset’s wide range of businesses across all sectors and we would love it if businesses from your area were recognised also. Now in their 18th year, the awards are the only county-wide business awards and this year there are new sponsors and a new category – Apprentice of the Year, which will honour an individual who has made a positive impact in a business during the last 24 months, while training through an apprenticeship programme. The prestigious Business of the Year Awards have also got new criteria and this year the small, medium and large categories will be dependent on the turnover of the business. The awards are free to enter and businesses do not need to be a member of the Chamber to take part. Once again, leading accountancy firm Albert Goodman will be the main sponsor, with the awards culminating in a gala final in March. Businesses have until November 25 to submit their entries via the Somerset Business Awards website at www.somersetbusinessawards.org.ukAwards this year are:Small Business of the Year (turnover up to £0.5 million) sponsored by Enterprise South WestMedium Business of the Year (turnover up to £6 million) sponsored by Higos Insurance ServicesLarge Business of the Year (turnover over £6 million) sponsored by Brook FinancialAlbert Goodman Family Business of the Year AwardBest Use of Technology Award sponsored by Porter DodsonCharity of the Year Award sponsored by Clarke WillmottEmployer of the Year sponsored by Elite Staffing SolutionsInvesting in Somerset Award sponsored by Hinkley Point CStart-up of the Year Award sponsored by Teapot CreativeApprentice of the Award (new award) sponsored by Weston CollegeEnvironmental Achievement Award sponsored by GravityService Excellence Award sponsored by Stephens ScownSomerset Manufacturer and Producer Award sponsored by SRD Technology UKRebuild and Thrive Award sponsored by Barclays UK ...
