To get the new year off to a positive start the Chamber hosted  a seminar addressing the new Data Protection Regulations that are due to come into force in May 2018.

The workshop was led by guest speaker ‘Susi Calder’’ of Susify, who explained how the new legislation will affect the way that we use the personal data gathered, and held in our businesses. Susi gave an overview about how we can collect and store personal data. She explained how we can  prepare for their introduction. Both members and non-members attended the seminar, and after roughly 90 minutes of information, far from losing the will to live, attendees were firing question after question at Susi.
