Tuesday 20th March 2018 – Open House Meeting

The Chamber is hosting an Open House Meeting with guest speaker Alex Parmley, CEO of South Somerset District Council (SSDC). Alex will share the SSDC views about plans and priorities to help South Somerset towns, of which Wincanton is one.

This is an open meeting, and we invite all businesses to come and join us for this important evening. After the SSDC presentation there will be time to ask questions, important to our local businesses.

Friday 16th March 2018 – Christmas Extravaganza – Public Meeting

This meeting has been rescheduled from the planned meeting on Friday 2nd March, which was cancelled due to extreme weather.

Following the talk hosted by Wincanton Chamber of Commerce in January 2018, “Susify” now present a workshop to help small businesses understand and apply the new Data Regulations.

These regulations will change the way that personal data must be handled within your business. Susi will be explaining the regulations and giving advice regarding preparation for, and application of them.

With the introduction of new regulations in May 2018 (GDPR), Wincanton Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host this workshop by Susi Calder.

To get the new year off to a positive start the Chamber is hosting  a talk addressing the new Data Protection Regulations that are due to come into force in May 2018.
The workshop will be led by guest speaker ‘Susi Calder’’ of Susify, who will be advising us about new legislation that will affect the way that we use the personal data held in our businesses and the ways in which  we can collect and store personal data. Susi will be explaining the regulations and giving advice regarding preparation for and application of them.

Everyone is welcome to attend (including non-members) – so why not come along, get an update on what’s going on, network and promote yourself and your business locally?
